English: New version of File:Chloroplast (standalone version)-en.svg, reworked for æsthetics and scientific accuracy. The inner and outer membranes would not be green, however: the pigments are held in the thylakoids, and all the outer structures should be colourless.

Reverted to version as of 13:55, 13 October 2013 (UTC). This is a schematic diagram highlighting the components and architecture of the chloroplast, it's not about the precise distribution of pigments. Changing transparency makes the figure inconsistent with other files by this user.
Envelope, whole of chloroplast except the green chlorophyll-containing thylakoids, is not deep opaque green, should be roughly colourless without pigment, i.e. image was deeply misleading
